A 4-movement, 29-minute work for string quartet.
Winner of Absolute First Prize for an Original Composition in the Concours International de Musique Jean-Philippe Rameau 2025.
This piece is a romantic view of the night sky moving in a slow spiral.
Pas d’Insectes was originally intended as a score for a ballet in three scenes about insects.
Five movements for bass flute, cor anglais, bass clarinet and bassoon.
Stylistically, the piece alternates between melancholic introversion and nervous agitation, and ends with a sense of emotional exhaustion.
These miniatures were selected from sketches of small ideas, then expanded and assembled into short movements for wind quintet.
