Five movements for bass flute, cor anglais, bass clarinet and bassoon.
Stylistically, the piece alternates between melancholic introversion and nervous agitation, and ends with a sense of emotional exhaustion.
These miniatures were selected from sketches of small ideas, then expanded and assembled into short movements for wind quintet.
A 19-minute, single-movement work subtitled “über die Enden”.
Winner of the Platinum Prize for an Original Composition in the Carl Reinecke International Music Competition 2025.
