I composed this fanfare while back in Pennsylvania in the fall of 1975.
I composed this smaller fanfare one free afternoon early in my tenure in the South – while there was still a free afternoon left.
Based on an expectation of having masses of resources at my disposal, I composed this fanfare in Pennsylvania during the summer of 1974 before heading South.
The Five Fanfares are perfect for any occasion that needs some added gravitas. They are playable with or without percussion.
